More comprehensive than the one-day Emergency First Aid @ Work qualification, the course covers CPR, through to medical conditions and musculo-skeletal injuries. With a greater subject knowledge, you will be better equipped to deal with a wider variety of first aid incidents/accidents within your workplace and home life.

This is a classroom-based instructor lead course. The classroom learning is facilitated by the instructor using PowerPoint presentation, scenario-based learning, open discussions and formative and summative assessment. Each learner will receive a First Aid Manual which can be used during the course and is theirs to keep post course.

Assessment – There are a series of practical assessments as well as multiple choice questions throughout the course.

This is a 3-day course consisting of 18 hours of contact learning time and is valid for a period of 3 years, with the HSE recommending annual updates throughout the time you hold the qualification.
